In the rare cases where mileage calibration over OBDII drops out and never completes, the Clio V platform cluster can be worked on the bench. You need a connection cable you make yourself using the pinouts given in the manual.

⚠ WarningWorking on the bench leaves the ABS module out of the procedure: you will have to set the correct mileage in the ABS separately, otherwise the two values stay out of line. Remember too the 12V+ wire on pin 17 and the ground on pins 5 and 6 of the DB25, without which the bench has no power.
Procedure
Only take this route if the OBDII calibration has dropped out and cannot be completed on the vehicle.
Remove the instrument cluster from the car.
Make up the connection cable. Cluster side: pin 5 = 12V supply, pin 7 = GND, pin 18 = CAN H, pin 19 = CAN L.
DB25 connector side towards the interface: PIN 2 = CAN H, PIN 5 and PIN 6 bridged together = GND, PIN 10 = CAN L, PIN 17 = IGN (12V supply).
Fit a 120 Ohm resistor between CAN H and CAN L, that is between PIN 2 and PIN 10 of the DB25.
Bring power to the bench: 12V+ wire to pin 17 and ground wire to pins 5 and 6 of the DB25, as shown in the manual diagrams.
Connect the AVDI to the DB25 connector of the harness you made and power everything up.
Open the Renault/Dacia Online software, go into "Mileage" and calibrate the cluster on the bench.
Refit the cluster to the vehicle.
Set the correct mileage in the ABS module separately over OBDII, then re-read both values to confirm they match.
