Two tools for working on module data: the "Dump Tool" lets you edit dump files from various devices (airbags, for example), while "Change ID" lets you read and change the chassis number (VIN) stored in the vehicle's modules. Both are typically used after an ECU replacement.

⚠ WarningThe Dump Tool neither reads nor writes by itself: EEPROM and flash have to be read with a programmer and, once edited, the resulting file has to be written back to the EEPROM/flash with the programmer. Note also that most devices have no identification number stored, so "Change ID" will find nothing to edit.
Procedure
For the Dump Tool: read the device's EEPROM or flash (the airbag module, for example) with a programmer and save the dump file.
Open the Renault/Dacia software, go to "Special functions" and open the "Dump Tool".
Load the dump file and apply the edits you need with the tool.
Save the resulting file and write it back to the device's EEPROM/flash with the programmer: without this step the change never reaches the module.
For Change ID: select the vehicle model and open the "Change ID" function. A window opens with all the devices available for the selected model.
For each device you can try reading and changing the VIN. Enter the correct chassis number and confirm the write.
The VIN checksum is calculated automatically by the software: nothing to do by hand.
Verify by re-reading the module identification that the VIN written is the one you expect.
