Mileage correction on the Clio V platform (Clio V, Captur II, New Zoe): as well as OBDII you need a direct connection to the BCM (UCH). This platform runs three types of cluster and the way you work changes with the type fitted.

⚠ WarningOn Visteon High Line HD clusters the procedure reprograms the unit: you must power the vehicle with a stabilised power supply for the whole job (a few minutes longer than the other clusters, but no more than 10 minutes in any case). A voltage drop during the rewrite can brick the cluster.
Procedure
Plug the AVDI into the OBDII and add the direct connection to the BCM (UCH) with CB012 or, preferably, CB021, following the pinouts in the "BCM (UCH) connection" section (DS1 grey: CAN H pin 26 white, CAN L pin 27 grey; UCH SWEET 400: CB012 on the green DS3, red needle pin 2 blue = CAN H, black needle pin 3 pink = CAN L).
Identify the cluster type fitted: Calsonic Kansei or Marelli analogue, Visteon Low Line, or Visteon High Line HD.
ANALOGUE CLUSTER, Calsonic Kansei or Marelli: on the supported software versions it can be done over OBDII, otherwise it is the only case on this platform where you are forced to work by dump.
For the dump route remove the cluster, connect the 95640 EEPROM with the ZN057 adapter and the ABProg programmer following the connection diagram for the Calsonic Kansei or Marelli cluster, then read and rewrite the chip.
VISTEON LOW LINE CLUSTER: the procedure is done entirely over OBDII from the "Mileage" function.
VISTEON HIGH LINE HD CLUSTER: done over OBDII but the unit gets reprogrammed. Hook a power supply to the vehicle first and do not disconnect it until the procedure is finished.
On the Visteon High Line HD the software asks you to switch on permanent ignition ("permanent ignition on"): put the gearbox in N and hold the start button for 5 seconds.
In this state the software automatically saves a backup file: keep it, it is what restores the unit from the "Programming" menu if anything goes wrong.
Open "Mileage", read the values, type the new mileage into the field at the top right, press "Enter" and confirm the update.
When finished cycle the cluster, check the displayed value and re-read the ABS module too to confirm they are in line.
