Cables and programmers for bench ECU and TCU reading: CB013, CB023, CB030, CB032, ZN079, CB501, ZN073, ZN074, ZN085

The set of Abrites cables and programmers for connecting to engine ECUs and gearboxes on the bench: BMW MSD/MSV and MD/MG, Mercedes MD1/MG1, Denso DCM6.2, ZF 8HP gearboxes and RH850/V850 micros. You use them when the ECU has to be read or programmed out of the vehicle.

Procedure

1. Identify the ECU and pick the cable: BMW MSD/MSV on the bench -> CB013 - MSD/MSV bench connection cable set.
2. BMW with MD/MG ECUs -> CB023 - BMW MD/MG ECU connection cable.
3. Mercedes-Benz with MD1/MG1 ECUs, for FBS4 Manager and for the ECU Programming Tool -> CB030 - Mercedes-Benz MD1/MG1 ECU connection cable.
4. Denso DCM6.2 ECUs -> CB032 - DCM6.2 connection cable.
5. ZF 8HP automatic gearboxes -> ZN079 - ZF 8HP TCU connection cable.
6. RH850/V850 micros -> CB501 - RH850/V850 connection cable with the ZN085 - Abrites programmer RH850/V850.
7. For BDM reading use the ZN073 - BDM programmer; for the rest of the bench setup the ZN074 - ECU reading set.
8. If you need to extend the direct CAN connection use the CB029 - Direct CAN connection extension cable.
9. With the cable connected to the ECU and to the AVDI (with the ZN051 when the procedure calls for it), power up the bench and start the read from the software; always save the original file before writing.
