The ZN046 Key PCB Renewal adapter regenerates already-used keys and makes them virgin, so they can be programmed to another vehicle. All keys with a PCF processor are supported; it's the go-to tool for the locksmith working with ABPROG.

⚠ WarningThe function only lets you reuse a HITAG key on another HITAG vehicle if both keys belong to the same HITAG generation. If the wiring diagram for your key isn't in the software, email support@abrites.com with your AVDI ID and a photo of the key showing its product version: don't improvise the soldering.
Procedure
Open the key and take out the PCB; identify the exact model (part number and frequency) by comparing it against the supported key list.
Solder the ZN046 adapter wires to the contact points on the key PCB, following the manual photos for your key type (new Porsche HITAG, Audi BCM2, BMW F-Series 1st and 2nd type, BMW E-Series, Volvo, PSA).
Connect the male DB-25 end of the adapter to the female DB-25 connector on the ABPROG ZN045.
Connect the male DB-15 end of the ZN045 to the female DB-15 connector on the AVDI, then the AVDI to the PC.
Start the ABPROG software and select "PCF" from the drop-down menu, then pick the PCB model of the key you're renewing.
Click "Program" to start the renewal and confirm with "Yes" at the prompt.
Wait for the "KEY Write finished successfully" message: the key is now renewed and virgin.
Desolder the wires, close the key back up and go on to program the key to the new vehicle with the diagnostic software.
