The EZS/EIS is the heart of the Mercedes truck immobiliser system: this is the bench configuration for connecting it to the ZN081 CAN Gateway and working on it with the AVDI, for example for key programming or module replacement.

⚠ WarningThe EZS/EIS has its own dedicated connector: the CB602 cable must be connected ONLY to connector "B" of the CAN Gateway, not to "C" or "D" which are reserved for MCM and TCU. Fit the 5A fuse before applying power.
Procedure
Connect the CB602 cable to the socket on the truck's EZS/EIS.
Connect the other end of the CB602 to connector "B" of the ZN081 CAN Gateway.
Fit the 5A fuse in the dedicated holder on the CAN Gateway.
Connect the DC jack of the 24V power supply (ZN084 24V/4A) to the gateway's power socket; use the DC Jack adapter F 5.5x2.1 to M 5.5x2.5 if the connector does not match.
Connect the AVDI interface to connector "A" of the CAN Gateway via the CB601 cable.
Apply power and start Abrites Diagnostics for Mercedes Trucks with the MN031 licence to run the procedures on the EZS/EIS.
Remember the CB602 compatibility: Mercedes-Benz Actros, Arocs, Antos, Travego, Tourismo 3rd generation and Setra with IR keys (and other buses in the range with IR keys).
