All Keys Lost on Clio V, Captur II, Zoe, Arkana, Megane IV Ph2, Talisman Ph2: PIN from HFM/BCM dump with ZN085

When there is no working key at all on the Clio V platform and its derivatives, the PIN is extracted by dumping the HFM module (keyless versions) or the BCM (non-keyless versions) with the RH850/V850 programmer. That PIN is then used to program the new keys.

Procedure

1. Check that the vehicle is one of the supported models: Renault Clio V (2019+), Renault Captur II (2019+), Renault New Zoe (2019+), European Renault Arkana (2018+), Renault Megane IV Ph2 (2022+), Renault Talisman Ph2 (2020+).
2. Work out which module to read according to the spec: on keyless models you read the HFM, on non-keyless models the BCM.
3. Remove the module and get it ready to be dumped with the ZN085 programmer.
4. Open the "RH850/V850 Programmer" software from the Quick Start Menu.
5. In the software select the MCU type and the module you have to work on.
6. Once the module is selected, the software shows the connection diagram: follow it exactly for the wiring to the ZN085. Full details are in the RH850/V850 programmer user manual.
7. Read the dump and save the file on the PC.
8. Extract the PIN code from the dump with the Abrites solution and note it down.
9. Refit the module to the vehicle and program the new keys with the PIN you obtained, using the "Key Learning" function and the PROTAG.
10. Test every programmed key for starting and on the lock/unlock buttons.
