Nissan on Clio V platform (28-digit PIN): PIN extraction from HFM/BCM dump and all keys lost with RH850/V850

Nissan/Infiniti Interface New Keys / Immo Advanced ⏱ varies 9 steps

The latest Nissan/Infiniti models built on the Clio V platform use 28-digit PINs and are worked exactly like a Clio V. The PIN is pulled by dump from the HFM module (keyless versions) or the BCM (non-keyless versions) with a locked RH850 processor, so you can then program keys even in an all-keys-lost job.

Required licences

Hardware / cables

  • AVDI
  • ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer
  • CB012
  • CB106
⚠ WarningA connection to the vehicle's internal CAN is mandatory: the software asks for it before it can verify the PIN, showing the message "Please use an adapter to connect to internal vehicle CAN". CAN wire colours change from car to car: always check the technical documentation for the specific vehicle before piercing any wire, so you don't hit the wrong line.

Procedure

  1. Identify the vehicle: if it is built on the Clio V platform with a 28-digit PIN (for example Juke F16, Sentra B18, J12) the procedure is the Renault one, described in the Renault Online manual, Clio 5 section (paragraphs 4.1 and 4.2).
  2. Get the ABRITES RH850/V850 programmer ready: it is what pulls the PIN by dump from modules with a locked RH850 processor (all models with locked processors are supported).
  3. Work out which module to dump: HFM on keyless models, BCM on non-keyless models.
  4. Plug the AVDI into the OBDII port and start the procedure: the software will tell you when the internal CAN is needed by showing the message "Please use an adapter to connect to internal vehicle CAN".
  5. Connect the CB012 between the AVDI and the CB106 cable.
  6. Hook the CB012 needle probes onto the vehicle's internal CAN wires: check the car's technical documentation to identify CAN H and CAN L. Example on a 2021 Nissan Qashqai J12, UPC module: CAN H blue wire, CAN L pink wire (colours may vary).
  7. Extract the PIN by dump with the RH850/V850 programmer and let the software verify it.
  8. Carry on with all-keys-lost key programming following the Clio 5 procedure in the Renault Online manual.
  9. When the job is done remove the needle probes, put the wiring back as it was and test all keys, then run "Scan" and "Clear Faults".
