Standard diagnostic procedure: you scan all the modules fitted to the vehicle, see how many DTCs each unit holds and either read the detail or clear the faults. It is the first step before any coding or key programming job.

Procedure
Select the vehicle as per the start-up procedure: the first scan runs automatically when the vehicle is selected and the list of available modules is loaded.
If you need to run the scan again later, press the "Scan" button on the software's main screen.
Read the list: the number of DTCs present is shown next to each module, so you can spot the units in fault straight away.
For the detail, go into one module at a time and look through the list of DTCs with their related information.
Once you have documented the faults, press "Clear Faults" to clear all the DTCs in one go.
Run "Scan" again to see which faults come back: the ones that return indicate a fault still active, to be investigated further with "Live Value" or "Actuators".
If you need a complete snapshot of the vehicle's condition to hand to the customer, use the "Vehicle Report" function.
