Key programming on Magneti Marelli BCMs with Fujitsu MB91Fxxx MCU and HiTagAES keys (Fiat Ducato and derivatives)

Key and key fob programming on FCA vehicles with a Magneti Marelli BCM based on the Fujitsu MB91Fxxx MCU and HiTagAES blade keys. The procedure works from a dump: the immobiliser data is extracted from the file read out of the Fujitsu MCU and loaded into the software.

Procedure

1. Read the dump of the Magneti Marelli BCM's Fujitsu MB91Fxxx MCU beforehand and have the file ready on the PC.
2. Check whether the vehicle is fitted with a Gateway module. Without a Gateway you can run the procedure straight over OBDII; with a Gateway connect the CB019 or the CB012 (on the Fiat Ducato and all its derivatives the Gateway location is documented in the manual).
3. Connect the AVDI and power the vehicle from an external supply, then open the FCA Online software: the vehicle is detected automatically.
4. Select "Key Learning" and choose the matching vehicle model.
5. Once the connection is established, use "Load Data Flash Dump" and load the file you read earlier.
6. Wait for the confirmation message: it means everything went through and the vehicle data has been saved correctly.
7. Use "Prepare Key Fob" and insert a virgin FCA HiTagAES key into the ZN003 ProTag to prepare it.
8. Run "Key Programming" to program the prepared key.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions until the procedure is complete, then test starting and the remote with every key.
