Key programming on FCA keyless models from 2020 onwards in All Keys Lost (CB017 set + ZN051)

On FCA keyless models built after 2020, in an all keys lost situation the OBD connection alone is not enough: you need the Abrites CB017 cable set connected to the relay socket of the ZN051 Distribution Box and to the engine ECU fuse (KL15). This procedure covers the connections to make before launching Key Learning.

Procedure

1. Confirm that the vehicle is an FCA keyless model built after 2020 and that you are in an All Keys Lost situation: in that case the additional CB017 cable set is required.
2. Connect the AVDI to the ZN051 Distribution Box and the Distribution Box to the vehicle's OBDII socket.
3. Plug the CB017 set into the relay socket of the ZN051 Distribution Box.
4. Connect the red cable with the smaller fuse between the ZN051 relay socket and the engine ECU fuse position (KL15): refer to the engine ECU fuse location diagrams in the manual for the specific model.
5. Connect the red cable with the clamp between the ZN051 relay socket and B+, for example directly to the vehicle battery positive.
6. Check that all connections are secure and that the Distribution Box is powered correctly before proceeding.
7. Start the FCA software, open the "Key Learning" function and select the vehicle make and model.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions through to completion of the new key learning.
9. When finished, disconnect the CB017 set and test the programmed keys: keyless recognition, door unlocking and engine start.
