Procedure
Before doing anything, finish the mechanical repair and replace all pyrotechnic components and damaged sensors: crash data should only be cleared on a system put back to spec.
Plug the AVDI into the OBDII port and open the Renault/Dacia Online software through to vehicle identification.
Check in the list of supported units shown by the software that the vehicle's airbag module is covered by the function.
Open the "Renew" special function from the left-hand menu.
Select the airbag module and choose the "Clear crash" option.
Start the procedure and let it run through without unplugging the OBDII and without switching the ignition off.
When it finishes read the airbag module DTCs and clear them, then cycle the ignition off and on.
Check that the airbag warning light goes out after the usual self-test and that no stored crash codes come back.
