The Dump tool is used when you want to program OEM keys on a vehicle whose KVM can be read on the bench. The software automatically modifies the KVM Program flash dump, which you then write back into the module so you can program and erase keys with the standard procedure.

programmatore per lettura flash KVM
⚠ WarningIt works on vehicles with FK72, DPLA or HPLA type KVM, and only if the KVM Program flash can be read with a programmer. Always keep the original dump you read (dump.bin) before writing the modified file.
Procedure
Remove the KVM and read the Program flash with a suitable programmer, saving the dump to the PC (e.g. dump.bin). Keep the original file as an untouched backup.
Open the "Dump tool" in Abrites Diagnostics for JLR and load the flash file you have just read.
Check the file has loaded correctly and click "next": the software automatically carries out all the required modifications.
Save the generated file under a different name from the original (e.g. dump_modified.bin).
Write dump_modified.bin into the KVM with the programmer and refit the module to the vehicle.
Program and erase keys using the standard procedure in the JLR software.
