⚠ WarningCalibration must be carried out in compliance with local law. Before writing, confirm the correct value: once confirmed, the written figure stays in the control unit.

Procedure

  1. Check coverage: calibration is available, as a guide and not an exhaustive list, on Land Rover Evoque L538 LL and HL from July 2011 to 2014 (2 and 4 door), Range Rover Sport L494 2013-2014, Range Rover L405 2012-2014 (including long wheelbase); Jaguar F-Type Convertible and Coupe 2013-2014, XF X250 2007-2014, XJ X351 2010-2014, XK X150 2010-2014.
  2. Connect the AVDI to the OBDII socket and to the PC, open the JLR application and establish diagnostic communication with the vehicle.
  3. Click the "Cluster calibration" function icon.
  4. Select the control unit to be calibrated from the list and press "read" to read the currently stored value.
  5. Enter the correct value in the "new" field and press "update" to write it.
  6. Read the data back and confirm the value set is the right one, then close the window.
  7. Cycle the ignition off and on and check on the vehicle that the value is consistent across all the control units involved.
