Used to read the sensor values of a control unit while the engine or the system is running, either as numbers or as a graph. It is the main tool for chasing an intermittent fault or comparing behaviour before and after a repair.

Procedure
Run the "Scan" on the vehicle and find in the list the control unit whose parameters you want to read.
Open the control unit and select "Live values".
In the list of values available for that unit, tick the sensors you want to watch: you can select more than one at a time.
Choose the display mode: interrogation form (numeric values) or graph form.
In graph mode all the selected sensors are plotted together: seeing them at the same time makes it far easier to work out where the fault is (for example a sensor that drops out while the others stay steady).
Use the buttons on the side of the window to zoom in on a detail or zoom out for the overall picture.
Save the recording of the measured values to a file on the PC.
To compare two situations (before/after a repair, a good vehicle against a faulty one), load a previously saved file and put it side by side with the live reading.
