Key programming on BMW F series vehicles with a CAS4 module. It is a guided procedure: the software shows you every operation to be carried out, step by step.

⚠ WarningFollow the on-screen messages to the letter, particularly the ones about the power supply and the sequence of operations requested: that is where the procedure can fail.
Procedure
- Connect the AVDI to the vehicle and make sure an external power supply is feeding the car.
- Connect the PROTAG to the PC.
- In the software open "Keys and Start Synchronization".
- Go into "EWS Manager" and select "Program Keys".
- Follow all the wizard's on-screen messages, keeping to the order given and to the power supply requirements, until the programming is complete.
