BDC2/BDC3 spare key on the bench with ZN085 and CB503 cable (reading the Secret Key from the key)

Adding a spare key on the latest BDC2 and BDC3 generations by reading the Secret Key straight from a working key. No information has to be read from the immobiliser (the BDC module) and no OBD programming is needed.

Procedure

  1. Open the working key up and solder the CB503 cable to its PCB following the diagram shown in the NCF menu of the ZN085 software.
  2. Read the NCF MCU to extract the immobiliser data: Key ID, Secret Key and Key Information.
  3. Open the new key up and connect the CB503 cable to its PCB.
  4. Press "Make Key" with the ZN085 to write the extracted immobiliser data onto the new key.
  5. The key works straight away: no further OBD programming is needed. Both new OEM keys and used keys are supported.
