Key programming for Panamera, Cayenne (2011+), Boxster 981, 911 991 and Macan (BCM_Front)

Key learning on the later Porsche models (Panamera, Cayenne from 2011, Boxster 981, 911 991, Macan). You read the DFlash (EEPROM) of the BCM_Front immobiliser module, prepare the new key as a dealer key and then learn all the keys to the vehicle over OBDII.

Procedure

1. Remove the BCM_Front immobiliser module and read it with a programmer: you need the DFlash (EEPROM) of this module.
2. Load the DFlash dump into the software, put the new key in the programmer antenna and prepare the key as a dealer key.
3. Count the keys: you have to enter the number of existing keys plus the new one. Gather all these keys, they must be available throughout the whole procedure.
4. Connect the AVDI to the OBDII socket and let the software try to connect to the vehicle.
5. If you can't connect, wake the car up: switch the lights on and off a few times, operate the windows, etc., then try again.
6. Once connected, put each key into the ignition lock, one at a time (the existing keys and the new one). The software tells you when to insert the next key, how many keys are already learned and how many are left; the same information appears on the instrument cluster.
7. Once the procedure is complete, check the remote works.
8. To activate the keyless function: switch the ignition ON with the plastic (dummy) key and press any button on the remote.
