"Guided functions" gathers vehicle-specific servicing routines, organised by model and by control unit. From here you launch, for example, the DME Short tests or the routines available for the alarm module.

⚠ WarningSome guided functions need an internet connection to run.
Procedure
Connect the AVDI to the OBDII socket, switch the ignition on and start "Abrites Diagnostics for Porsche".
Open the special function "Guided functions".
Select the vehicle model, then select the unit (e.g. "Alarm" for Porsche Boxster 986 1997-2004, or the DME) and press "Next".
On some models the tester automatically identifies the control unit type over OBDII before showing the list: wait for the identification to finish.
The next window shows all the functions available for the selected unit.
Select the function you want and press "Next": the routine runs. For example "Short tests" for the Boxster 987 DME ME78 or for the Panamera DME SDI6.
Follow the on-screen progress and any prompts through to the end.
