The "Dump Tool" works on the configuration data dump of a Porsche module and extracts the security access codes, the mileage and other data. Use it when the codes cannot be read over OBDII (for example the Kessy module immobiliser/Login code) or when you need to modify the module contents and reprogram it.

⚠ WarningThe Dump Tool does not write to the module: after modifying, you have to save the dump as a NEW file and program it into the device yourself. Always keep the original dump untouched before making any changes.
Procedure
Remove the module concerned (Kessy, alarm, control unit) and read its configuration data dump with an EEPROM programmer, or use a dump read previously.
Immediately save a copy of the original dump to a backup folder: it is your only way back if something goes wrong.
In "Abrites Diagnostics for Porsche" open the "Special Functions" and select "Dump Tool".
Load the dump file of the corresponding module into the application.
Read the data the software calculates (security access code, immobiliser/Login code, mileage depending on the module) and note it down: you will need it in the key learning or Kessy adaptation functions.
If you have made any changes to the data, save the result as a new dump file, without overwriting the original.
Program the new dump file into the device with the EEPROM programmer and refit the module to the vehicle.
