Key Learning is the tool for programming transponder keys to the immobiliser. The function is guided: the software applies the PIN already read, asks for confirmation and walks you through to the programmed key.

Procedure
Read the Security Code first with the "Read Security Code" function: without the PIN you cannot program keys on Opel/Vauxhall.
With the AVDI connected and the ignition ON, open the "Key Learning" screen from the "Special Functions" list.
Check that the PIN field is already filled in with the code read earlier; if not, enter it manually.
Select the vehicle model: the full list of supported vehicles is visible in the software and on the Abrites website and webstore under the dedicated licence.
Once the model is selected the available options appear: key programming, add key ("add key"), force ignition on ("force ignition on") and PIN reading.
To add a key without erasing the ones already stored use the "add key" option; to redo the whole set use key programming.
Follow the on-screen wizard: the software applies the PIN already read and asks you to verify it before going on.
Insert the key to be programmed when prompted and wait for confirmation that programming is done.
At the end the software asks whether you want to program another key: answer yes to carry on with the remaining keys, otherwise close and the procedure is finished.
Test all the programmed keys by starting the engine before handing the car back.
