Immo Info: reading the type and status (locked/unlocked) of RFA/KVM, BCM, UWB presence and registered keys on Jaguar/Land Rover

JLR Interface New Diagnostics Basic ⏱ 5 min 6 steps

The "Immo Info" function reads the immobiliser information in a single screen: RFA/KVM module (software version, country, locked/unlocked status, UWB presence, registered Key ID list), keys known to the BCM and central configuration data (remote frequency, central locking type, unlock setting). It is the check to do before an RFA replacement or a key programming job.

Required licences

Hardware / cables

  • AVDI

Procedure

  1. Connect the AVDI to the OBDII socket, start Abrites diagnostics for Jaguar/Land Rover Online and identify the vehicle.
  2. Select "Immo Info" from the vehicle menu: the software queries the RFA/KVM, BCM and central configuration.
  3. "RFA information" section: read the software version, country, "RFA status" (Locked or Unlocked), "UWB present" and the Key ID of each registered key.
  4. "BCM Keys" section: compare the Key ID list with the RFA's; a mismatch explains a key that starts but does not unlock, or vice versa.
  5. "Central Configuration" section: check the remote frequency (e.g. 434 MHz), central locking type and unlock setting.
  6. Depending on the RFA status choose your route: with an unlocked RFA you can use "Add new key" and "Enable/Disable UWB"; with a locked RFA you need the SPC560xx MCU replacement or the "Replace RFA" procedure.
