⚠ WarningThe function requires an UNLOCKED RFA module: programming is not possible on a locked RFA. The PROTAG must stay connected to the PC throughout the procedure and every key must be placed on the PROTAG with the buttons facing up.
Procedure
Check the vehicle has an unlocked RFA module (factory, used and unlocked, or with a replaced SPC560xx MCU).
Connect the AVDI to the vehicle OBDII socket and the PROTAG to the PC: both must be live before you start.
Get the keys to be programmed ready: you can use Abrites TA66 or TA67 keys or original keys.
Start the Abrites diagnostics for Jaguar/Land Rover Online software and identify the vehicle with "Auto-detect" (or "Manual Select").
Go into "Special Functions" and select "Add new key".
When the software prompts, place the first key on the PROTAG with the buttons facing up and wait for the read/write.
Repeat for each key you want to program, one at a time, always buttons up, following the on-screen prompts.
When finished, test every key: engine start and remote button operation.
If the remote does not unlock the doors, run "Rolling code synchronization" to realign the RFA (KVM), door modules and BCM.
Read the DTCs from the modules again and clear those generated during the procedure.
