⚠ WarningOnce the erase is complete you must program a minimum of 2 new keys: if you don't, the vehicle is left with no valid keys and will not start. Make sure you have the keys to be programmed in your hand BEFORE you run the erase.
Procedure
Lay out on the bench all the keys that have to work afterwards: at least 2 are needed after the erase.
Connect the AVDI, get a stable supply on the vehicle and start the software with the correct vehicle context.
Open the "Special Functions" list (bottom right) and select "PATS Erase All Keys" by double-clicking or with the "Open" button.
Confirm the operation and wait for it to complete: every key stored in the PATS is removed.
Straight afterwards move to "PATS Key Learning" and program at least 2 new keys following the on-screen instructions.
Check every programmed key: engine starting and the immobilizer light going out.
If the anti-theft system triggers during the job, apply the timing sequence described in the PATS Key Learning guide (programming window between the 15th and 16th minute).
