Ford Transit all keys lost: unlocking the BCM by disabling the alarm from the CCC

Ford/Mazda Interface Classic Keys / Immo Advanced ⏱ 30-60 min 7 steps

On the Ford Transit 2006, 2010 and 2013-on, working all keys lost with the alarm active locks the BCM and it refuses to enter a diagnostic session: keys can neither be programmed nor erased and the procedure fails. This is the practical way round the block.

Required licences

Hardware / cables

  • AVDI
⚠ WarningOnce the key work is finished you must go back into the CCC and re-enable the alarm by restoring the parameter to its original value: the vehicle must not be handed back with the alarm disabled.

Procedure

  1. Connect the AVDI to the Transit and open the Ford/Mazda diagnostics.
  2. Select the CCC - "Central Car Configuration" function.
  3. Read the configuration from the master BCM module ("Read the config from the Master BCM module").
  4. In the parameter list look for the "11 Alarm" parameter: it is set to "01 Alarm".
  5. Change the value to "02 No Alarm" and write the configuration to the BCM.
  6. The BCM is now unlocked: you can enter the key erasing/programming function and run the all keys lost procedure.
  7. Once the key work is complete, go back into the CCC and re-enable the alarm by restoring the "11 Alarm" parameter to its original value.
