Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto

VAG Interface New Configuration / MMI Basic ⏱ 5 min 4 steps

Enables CarPlay and Android Auto in wireless mode. Requirement: the car must already have wired CarPlay/Android Auto enabled.

  • Cavo OBDII
⚠ WarningIf the car does NOT already have wired CarPlay/Android Auto, the wireless function cannot be activated.

Procedure

  1. Open "Special functions" and select "Wireless CarPlay / Google Auto".
  2. The software lists the activation requirements.
  3. Choose the MMI type and whether to enable CarPlay, Android Auto or both.
  4. Confirm to apply.
