Long coding — enabling hidden features

VAG Interface New Coding / Adaptations Medium ⏱ 5–10 min 4 steps

Long coding changes parameters that are already present in the modules but not enabled: US to EU spec and back, lap timer in the cluster, start-up animation, and so on. The software shows the values in plain text with drop-down menus.

Procedure

  1. Enter the module you want and press "Long coding".
  2. The software shows the coding string and each parameter in plain text.
  3. Select your changes from the drop-down menus.
  4. Press "Write" to apply the new configuration.
