ECU programming with .frf files

VAG Interface New Flashing / Programming Medium ⏱ varies 3 steps

The Programming function lets you flash control units using .frf files.

Required licences

  • Licenza VAG (Programming)

Hardware / cables

  • AVDI
  • Cavo OBDII
  • Alimentatore stabile
⚠ WarningKeep the supply voltage stable throughout the flash. An interruption can brick the ECU.

Procedure

  1. Open VAG Online → "Special Functions" → "Programming".
  2. Load the .frf file.
  3. Start the programming and let it run to completion without interruption.
