Adaptations — customer-requested changes

VAG Interface New Coding / Adaptations Basic ⏱ 5 min 4 steps

The adaptations menu covers changes driven by customer preference: tailgate opening height, disabling active noise cancellation, audio values, service intervals and much more.

Hardware / cables

⚠ WarningThe software prompts you to save the values before changing them: do it, so you can put the module back to its previous state.

Procedure

  1. Enter the module you need from the diagnostics menu.
  2. Press "Adaptations".
  3. Find the adaptation channel and set the value you want (after saving the original one).
  4. Press "Write" to apply the change.
