Setting the CP bytes manually or extracting them from a ConfData dump

VAG Interface Classic Coding / Adaptations Advanced ⏱ varies 3 steps

A function that lets you set the component protection data manually, either by entering the CP bytes directly or by extracting them from a ConfData dump of the donor and host vehicles.

Procedure

  1. Enter the CP bytes, or extract them from a ConfData dump of the donor vehicle, then press "Use the CP as current CP".
  2. Enter the CP bytes, or extract them from a ConfData dump of the receiving (host) vehicle, then press "Use the CP as desired CP".
  3. Press "Adapt module to vehicle" to run the adaptation.
