Reading PIN/CS from Magneti Marelli 9GV ECUs with the DSBox (Immo III/IV)

A function that lets you read the PIN and CS from Magneti Marelli 9GV ECUs, which are not supported for immo data reading over OBD or in boot mode. If the ECU needs to be adapted, you can take its immo data (PIN/CS1) and write it into the instrument cluster.

⚠ WarningWriting the ECU's immo data into the instrument cluster means the keys will have to be reprogrammed. A DSBox and an active AMS are required. The procedure can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Procedure

  1. Open the ECU menu and select the PIN/CS read option for Magneti Marelli 9GV.
  2. Connect the DSBox and the ECU.
  3. Select the ECU's make; there are around 30 software versions and the version is selected from the ECU function.
  4. Wait until the immo data is displayed (from 30 minutes up to 4 hours).
  5. If you need to adapt the ECU, take its immo data (PIN/CS1) and write it into the instrument cluster, then reprogram the keys.
