MMI-TV configuration: changing the speed at which the TV switches off

VAG Interface Classic Configuration / MMI Basic ⏱ 10-15 min 5 steps

This special function changes the speed threshold above which the MMI TV switches off, on MMI-equipped vehicles.

Procedure

  1. Check that the vehicle is covered: Audi A3/S3; Audi A6/S6, Allroad and A8/S8 with MMI up to July 2006; Audi A6/S6, Allroad and A8/S8 with MMI from August 2006 onwards.
  2. Open the "MMI-TV configuration" special function.
  3. Select the correct model and edition: if the car is pre-2007 try edition 1; if it is later than 2007 it is best to try edition 2 first.
  4. Set the desired TV switch-off speed and confirm.
  5. If edition 1 fails on a pre-2007 car, leave the ignition ON for more than 30 minutes and try again with edition 2.
