Immo V: BCM2 module adaptation

Lets you adapt a replacement BCM2 module on vehicles with the Immo V immobiliser. You need both the old and the new module: first you connect the old one to read it, then you connect the new one.

⚠ WarningBefore adapting the new BCM2 module it is recommended to disable the ELV. You do this by connecting the original BCM2 and using the "BCM2" special function with "Re-adapt BCM2 function": enter the same VIN unchanged and, when asked whether you want to disable the ELV, answer yes. Once the new BCM2 has been adapted you can restore the ELV with the same procedure.

Procedure

  1. With the original BCM2 still connected, open the "BCM2" special function and use "Re-adapt BCM2 function".
  2. Enter the same VIN unchanged; when the software asks whether you want to disable the ELV, answer yes.
  3. Connect the old BCM2 and read it.
  4. Connect the new BCM2 and run the adaptation.
  5. With the new BCM2 adapted, restore the ELV using the same "Re-adapt BCM2 function" procedure.
