EZS Kessy CAN: programming a virgin key as a dealer key

Lets you turn a virgin key into a dealer key without having to buy one from the dealer, and then learn it to the EZS-Kessy.

Required licences

Procedure

  1. Connect the AVDI to the car and open the "EZS Kessy CAN" special function.
  2. Enter the login (PIN) and the component security bytes (see the dedicated procedure).
  3. Put a blank key into the key programmer and make sure ABRITES Diagnostics is connected to the car.
  4. Enter "1" in the "Number of keys to learn" field.
  5. Press the "Make dealer key" button: after a few seconds the dealer key is ready.
  6. To learn the key you have just made to the car, press the "Learn" button.
  7. Note: if you have an EZS-Kessy dump, the Sokymat 8E transponder can be reset with the Tag Key Tool software and the key can be reused.
