⚠ WarningYou must know the engine ECU's power class before running the function: it is normally displayed automatically when you load the comfort module dump and you can change it if the ECU has a different power class. If you enter the wrong power class on a working vehicle (ECU and immobiliser already adapted) the car will stop working and will only run again once you redo the procedure with the correct value, because the comfort module takes on whatever power class you enter. Also, once the read is finished the working keys stop working and have to be reprogrammed.
Procedure
Obtain the existing PIN and CS of the second-hand module: extract them by reading the used module's EEPROM dump or take them from the engine ECU of the car the module came from.
Start "Immo parts adaptation" and select the immobiliser (comfort module) for Passat B6/CC.
Load the comfort module's EEPROM dump or enter the second-hand module's PIN and CS manually.
Check the power class displayed (it fills in by itself when you load the dump) and correct it if the engine ECU has a different power class.
Run the adaptation procedure.
Reprogram the keys, which no longer work after the read.
Alternatively, for key programming: load the comfort module dump here to display all 7 CS bytes and use them to make a dealer key.
