Toyota Dump Tool: immobiliser, ID-box and smart module reset, virgin ECU, mileage recalibration and airbag crash data erase

The "Dump Tool" special function works on a dump already read out of a module and lets you take it back to virgin state, recalibrate the mileage or erase crash records from airbag modules. It is also the only way to recover an immobiliser ruined by a reset carried out while it was in key learning state.

Procedure

1. Read the dump of the module you have to work on with an IC programmer and save an untouched backup copy.
2. Open the "Dump Tool" special function and select the module type and the function you need from those listed in Appendix C of the manual.
3. IMMOBILISER RESET - supported: Tokai Rika EEPROM 93C66 (Texas 4D), Tokai Rika EEPROM 93C66 encrypted (Texas 4D or G-chip), VALEO 24C04 (Texas 4D), VISTEON 93C56.
4. ID-BOX RESET - EEPROM 93C46. SMART ACCESS MODULE RESET - EEPROM 93C66 or 93C86.
5. ENGINE ECU - virgin reset and mileage recalibration are both available.
6. AIRBAG MODULE - crash data record erase is available.
7. Load the matching dump into the software and press the "Parameters" button.
8. Save the modified dump and program it back into the matching module with the IC programmer, then refit the unit and check that everything works.
