⚠ WarningIn an all keys lost situation you need to know the 5-digit PIN to disarm the alarm before a key can be programmed. The default PIN to try is 1-2-3-4-5.
Procedure
Connect the Abrites CB305 cable to the AVDI; for older models with the 4-pin connector add the Abrites J1850 adapter (communication over SAE J1850 protocols).
Connect the CB305 to the bike's diagnostic connector: Harley-Davidsons use either a 4-pin connector (older models) or a 6-pin one.
Open Abrites Diagnostics for Bikes, Snowmobiles and Water Scooters and open the "Key learning" menu.
Select "Harley-Davidson" from the list.
Select the free key position and press "Next".
Enter the key's FOB Serial Number: it is the serial number supplied with the Harley-Davidson key.
If you are in an all keys lost situation, enter the 5-digit PIN to disarm the alarm; if you do not know it, try the default PIN 1-2-3-4-5.
Complete the procedure following the on-screen prompts and check the bike starts with the new key.
