Use this when the original VGS-NAG3 TCU is missing or completely dead and cannot be read: the personalisation data is taken from the car's EIS and written into the donor prepared on the bench.

⚠ WarningOrder matters: on the donor you must set the car's VIN BEFORE running "Personalize" with the EIS4 file. Personalisation without pre-existing data is a bench-only job. The unit activates automatically after 100 ignition cycles.
Procedure
Connect the AVDI to the car over OBDII.
Open the Mercedes FBS4 Manager software, select "Electronic Ignition Switch" (EIS) and press "Info".
Press "Save" to save the personalisation data file (EIS4 file) into a folder on the PC.
Set the donor unit up on the bench: connect the CB403 to the TCU connector as per the diagram, connect the AVDI to the ZN151 DS Box with the CB403 cable, connect the CB403 to the ZN151 DS Box and power the DS Box.
Open the Mercedes FBS4 Manager software and select "TCU".
Press "Info" to establish the connection.
Take the unit to "Virgin" state with the dedicated button.
IMPORTANT: now set the car's VIN on the donor TCU.
Only after the VIN has been set, press "Personalize" and select the file with the EIS4 data saved from the EIS.
When the job is done the software will ask you to cycle the key IGN OFF and then ON to finalise.
Refit the unit to the car; automatic activation happens after 100 ignition cycles.
