Mercedes-Benz bus and truck diagnostics

Mercedes Interface New Diagnostics Basic ⏱ 5–10 min 4 steps

Diagnostics for Mercedes-Benz buses and trucks: unit scanning, module identification, DTC read/clear and live value monitoring.

Hardware / cables

  • Cavo OBDII

Procedure

  1. At start-up, select whether you are working on a car, a truck or a bus.
  2. Run the full module scan (it also shows the fault count per module).
  3. Enter a module to see its identification and the options available (on the left).
  4. After the fault scan, go into each module to read the DTCs in detail (when and what happened) and any suggested fixes.
