Smart Functions (DPF mileage reset, DPF ash, VIM, seat belt alarm, sun roof, 360° cameras)

Mercedes Interface New Special Functions Medium ⏱ 5–15 min 5 steps

A set of smart functions for Mercedes units: DPF mileage reset, DPF 400% ash DTC reset (P245900), video in motion, seat belt alarm, sun roof calibration, 360° camera calibration, AdBlue emergency start, max speed limit and more. Each function lists the units it supports.

⚠ WarningDPF mileage reset: if the car's total mileage has been rolled back (tampered with), the function will complete but immediately set a DTC (DPF distance >400km due to a negative value) and regeneration will never take place — the 15-minute test with the official Mercedes tester is required. Sun roof calibration: anti-pinch is NOT active while the operation runs.

Procedure

  1. Select the unit (ECU or module) from the diagnostic menu.
  2. Open "SMART functions".
  3. Pick the function (e.g. "DPF MILEAGE RESET" for CRD3/CRD3S2/CRD3H, "DPF 400% ASH DTC RESET", "V I M", "SEAT BELTS ALARM" IC222, "SUN ROOF CALIBRATION", "360 DEGREE VIEW CALIBRATION" SVS207, etc.).
  4. Read the message/warning and run the function following the on-screen instructions.
  5. Note: "ScanAll" does the same as "Connect"; "ECU Selection" is used to build a custom list of units and then run ScanAll on it.
