Programming Mercedes-Benz keys with the "DAS Manager"

The "DAS Manager" can program keys on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, either by writing an Abrites key with the PROTAG or by emulating a key with the IR adapter. You need the key password.

Procedure

1. In the "DAS Manager", read the Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS).
2. Add the key password: you can paste it into the field provided.
3. With the password entered, choose whether to program an Abrites key with the PROTAG or emulate a key with the IR adapter.
4. Select the key position.
5. If an error message appears, repeat the procedure until it goes through.
6. Wait for the key dump to be generated; at that point it can be written.
7. Wait for the programming complete message.
