Central Gateway (CGW): Configuration read and write

The CGW is the main gateway between CAN C and CAN B and holds the service programmes. This special function allows the Central Gateway Configuration to be read and written IN FULL.

⚠ WarningThe function writes the whole CGW Configuration: always save the original read before writing, because the gateway configuration governs the communication between CAN C and CAN B as well as the service programmes.

Procedure

  1. Connect the vehicle and open the "Central Gateway Configuration read/update" special function.
  2. Perform a full read of the CGW control unit Configuration and keep it.
  3. Apply the required changes to the Configuration.
  4. Write the complete Configuration back to the CGW control unit.
