The CGW is the main gateway between CAN C and CAN B and holds the service programmes. This special function allows the Central Gateway Configuration to be read and written IN FULL.

⚠ WarningThe function writes the whole CGW Configuration: always save the original read before writing, because the gateway configuration governs the communication between CAN C and CAN B as well as the service programmes.
Procedure
- Connect the vehicle and open the "Central Gateway Configuration read/update" special function.
- Perform a full read of the CGW control unit Configuration and keep it.
- Apply the required changes to the Configuration.
- Write the complete Configuration back to the CGW control unit.
