When you have to add a key to the vehicle or all keys have been lost, the transponder you use must already hold a particular content before the immobiliser will accept it. The "Production" utility prepares a virgin transponder so it is ready for the subsequent programming over diagnostics.

⚠ WarningThe utility only works with virgin Texas 4D or virgin TPX2 transponders: a transponder that has already been written or cloned cannot be used for this preparation.
Procedure
Get hold of a virgin Texas 4D or a virgin TPX2 transponder and fit it into the key to be prepared (or keep it loose).
Connect the transponder programmer to the AVDI, open "Special Functions" and launch "Transponder Tool".
Check the state of the transponder first: place it 1 cm from the antenna and press "Read/Identify" to confirm it is virgin and of the correct type.
Select the sub-function for preparing/producing transponders ready for use on Daihatsu vehicles ("Production").
Hold the transponder still on the antenna, away from metal surfaces, and start the programming following the software prompts.
When it is done, repeat "Read/Identify" to confirm the transponder now holds the content the Daihatsu immobiliser expects.
Move on to programming the key to the vehicle over diagnostics: a transponder prepared this way can be accepted by the immobiliser system as an additional key.
