The "Dump Tool" works on a dump already read out of a Daihatsu ECU and lets you return it to virgin state, correct the mileage or clear the crash records from airbag modules. Use it when the ECU has to be replaced, reused or put back into service after an accident.

⚠ WarningOnce modified, the dump has to be saved and programmed back into the matching ECU: always work on a copy and keep the original dump intact before writing.
Procedure
Read the dump of the ECU concerned (immobiliser module, instrument cluster or airbag module) with an IC programmer and save it to file.
Make a backup copy of the original dump straight away and keep it separate from the working file.
On the software's main screen open "Special Functions" and select "Dump Tool".
Load the dump file into the application.
Choose the operation to perform on the dump: return the ECU to virgin state, adjust the mileage, or clear the crash records from the airbag module.
Carry out the change and save the modified dump under a new name, without overwriting the original file.
Program the modified dump back into the matching ECU with the same IC programmer.
Refit the ECU to the vehicle, check the result (starting, mileage on the cluster, airbag light off) and read the DTCs again with "Read DTCs" to confirm no faults remain stored.
